The purpose of this site is to inform and inspire.
Contributions
We accept photos, stories, and other content for this site. If you
have a story or some photos of your adventures with the club, send
them in using this form. If
you are interested in helping maintain or update the site, let
us know.
Technically speaking
This site is designed to work on V4+ browsers, as all University computers
have this as a minimum. The site's navigation makes extensive use of DHTML
and Javascript, layout is controlled by CSS, and there are some PDF's.
Because IE5 and NS6 supports CSS to a higher degree, this site looks and
works slightly better in those browsers.
If you experience any SNAFU's* with the site, please send feedback
and we' get onto it PDQ.
Site History
Back in 94, this site was hand-coded with Notepad. A majority of the content
in the About and Activities sections was introduced from the NUMC Handbook
and Yearbooks, co-produced by Naomi Peters and Adam Bramwell. Naomi went
on to work as editor of Rock and Wild magazines, whilst Adam started an
IT career so he could 'do a proper job with the site.'
