Kayaking
We go to many different local rivers including the Karuah, Barrington,
Gloucester and others. So when the rivers are up and there is some
good paddling to have, get in contact with the kayaking
co-ordinator to get on a trip.
The NUMC has eight or so kayaks, a couple of canoes, and a raft.
Look out for the beginners trips, as only experienced people are able
to borrow the kayaks with the skirts.
You can borrow a kayak, life jacket, spray deck, paddle and even a
wetsuit from our gear
store. If you're interested in kayaking or water sports,
