Planning
a trip
Joint trips
If you have a trip you would like to go on, but don’t want to take
on all the responsibility, contact
the relevant activity convenor and suggest your idea to them. If they
can't help you, they can put you in contact with people who will.
There is often more than one person involved in running a trip.
You can organise the details with the help of another person. Experienced
members are often willing to help you find your feet, and help run
the day with you.
Run it yourself
If you feel you are capable of running the whole show yourself,
publicise your idea through the mailing list or at the next Watson
planning meeting and you could find yourself shaping the Club’s
future direction.
For ideas and inspiration on trips, consult the Technical Register,
located in the gear store
